What about fruits and vegetables? All fruits are rich in carbs, but you can have certain fruits (usually berries) in small portions. Vegetables (also rich in carbs) are restricted to leafy greens (such as kale, Swiss chard, spinach), cauliflower, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, asparagus, bell peppers, onions, garlic, mushrooms, cucumber, celery, and summer squashes. Hi Tammy, I still have to try the muffin tin method to ive you a better response. Why don’t you make the recipe using exact ingredients for one bread multiplied x 9-10 and divide between 12 muffin tin slots? I think this will work better. This way we are not changing the amount of eggs. If you use less eggs, the bread will be more dry, since it is gluten-free.
I don’t normally eat a ton of eggs or chicken and stay mostly pescatarian. But I was trying to make an effort to eat more protein. Unfortunately I broke out in hives a few hours after forcing myself to eat the 2 hardboiled eggs provided for breakfast. Went to derm, who had me do a skin prick allergy test and lo and behold, allergic to eggs. (After 35 years on this earth eating the occasional omelette, and certainly many other things with eggs in them, this is surprise- but apparently eating an allergen on an empty stomach first thing is a great way to get the full effect of that allergen. Needless to say, I sadly threw out the rest of the eggs and my dog got a really nice couple of chicken & salmon dinners since I just could not stomach either after the first awful day. I’ve actually just ordered meta morphosis to reset after this Keto thing threw me off so badly. I do want to stress that I don’t fault Urban Remedy for this, I know Keto is trendy and they are responding to a diet plan that I know many people follow. I will continue to order, just never again this plan!
Reaction to eggs could be due to the following: Read Healthy Traditions website regarding chickens being fed soy – soy will be in the eggs. If you can’t get truly organic soy corn free eggs, you may order through them. It is said all soy, even organic is contaminated GE, plus it is said by reliable sources that organic soy, if consumed, should only be fermented. Non organic soy and corn are GE and heavily sprayed with diluted white phosphorus and flamydahyde (sp?) embalming fluid i.e. glousphate (sp) in Roundup Ready among other toxic chemical witch’s brews that farmers use requiring wearing hazmat suits.
